Photographer Troy House remembers all of his creative firsts – his first magazine cover, his first Times Square billboard, his first double page spread. Now he has a new first of which he is equally proud: his first New York City bus wrap, courtesy of his work for Celebrity Cruises.

“When you see your images in a new whole way, it is a monumental moment in a photographer’s life,” House says of the bus wrap used on the Hampton Jitney, which takes New Yorkers from Manhattan to the popular Long Island getaway. “Technically I was curious how they used the images and how they made it work around the frame of the bus. My hat’s off to the designers who pulled it off, it looks awesome.”

The bus wrap is the latest iteration in a long assignment for House that took him to the Caribbean, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, and beyond. The campaign centers on a series of snapshots that capture special moments from one perfect vacation. In one ad we see a shot of couples having lunch in a picture-perfect Italian village coupled with images of a relaxing massage, a romantic stroll around the city and finally sunset aboard the ship arm in arm. The copy reads in part “I caught the scent of wild rosemary and thought to myself: remember this.”

“I felt it was important to capture the essence of all the places Celebrity Cruises go,” House says. “The ads have a really strong point of view – to me it feels like the ultimate photo album of the greatest vacation of their life.”
