For our first art tour of 2018, we visited five galleries in Chelsea. Here are some of the highlights.
Our first stop was at Cheim & Reid gallery to see street artist Barry McGee’s exhibit.
Our second stop was at the Marlborough Contemporary to view Inconsiderate Fantasies of Negative Acceleration Characterized by Sacrifices of a Non-Consensual Nature by Survival Research Laboratories.
Our third stop was at Gallery Gagosian to see “Tom Wesselmann: Standing Still Lifes“. This is the first time the complete series is shown together.
Our fourth stop was to Jack Shainman gallery to see I Am You: Part 1 by Gordon Parks. This exhibit focuses on Parks lesser known bodies of works.
Our final stop was to Marianne Boesky Gallery to see Personal Effects in Black by Serge Alain Nitegeka.
